Blaine Gabbert is in SF to light the fire.

He couldn't light one if he used the Hindenburg.

DID YOU NOT READ MY ENTIRE POST?

You know the part where I said "Yes, I know there are other rounds"

You didn't say anything about the pick or even identify who it was. So I assumed you were one of the multiple "first round or bust" ramblers here.

Your subsequent post hasn't changed my mind.

On target for the most part, but no need to play the race card. It's not about race. Everyone thinks Johnny Manziel is a lazy street-ball player who gets by on natural athleticism while Russell Wilson is a scrappy, brainy overachiever. We really are beyond all that in football.

Not with Kaepernick. It's there times 1,000. Tattoos and all.

Whatever, dude. They ripped Romo for wearing his hat backward. It's the quarterback as CEO mentality.

Time to fall on the sword. Stevie Johnson did get traded to the Niners. Schefter must have known what he was talking about.

    He usually does.

Sweet; if healthy [big if?], he'll provide more than a rookie would have this year (well short of Sammy Watkins or Evans). I think he's got more speed than Crabtree or Boldin as well. Hey, he's a huge upgrade over Kyle Williams/Marlon Moore. I think Patton will be effective though.

Well I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt but apparently you just don't read.

I identified the pick -- see where I said "I hope Martin works out."

    Do try and keep up.
