Maybe he'll end up in a tent in Australia .

Maybe if Bill Walton didn't do this, he would have a successful college career?

NFL GM to Schefter about running backs... "That position needs its own union. We treat our equipment people better than we treat our running backs..."

Some mediocre DBs are going to score some big cash.

Guys who smoked themselves out of the league?
    Charles Rogers is one.

ESPN reporting the Steelers will cut LaMarr Woodley. Not exactly a surprise if this report is correct. Not a bad idea, either. The guy just can't stay healthy. I was a little surprised by the timing. I thought Pittsburgh could save more on the cap by waiting until June, but I may have misunderstood that.

They can still designate him a June cut if they want and have the same impact. The league changed that rule a few years ago so that June cuts can sign with teams in regular free agency.

Thanks. I found that in one of the other stories on this as well. Sounds like a good rule change, giving these guys more time to find another job.

Now the main concern for the Steelers is if somebody makes a ridiculous offer to Jason Worilds. It was his emergence in 2013 that made Woodley expendable.

That never made any sense... cutting a guy in June vs. cutting a guy in March. Either way, he's either on your roster at training camp or he's not. Shouldn't affect the salary cap.

Schefter says Bucs are cutting Revis by 4 p.m. ET Wednesday.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10585857/tampa-bay-buccaneers-expected-release-darrelle-revis-trade-him

He made $16 million last year, but the Bucs did themselves a huge favor by making his six-year, $96 million deal a true year-to-year thing with no signing bonus.

Guessing Revis won't be getting into a Twitter feud with Richard Sherman again about who's better.
