It's always awkward when a player demands to be traded and management's response is "we'd love to, but there's this little law of supply and demand."

I'd be surprised if they could even get a fifth-rounder for Weeden.

I'd be stunned if they could get anything.

Peter King's interview with Haslam was interesting. I think Haslam did some checking on why so many candidates bailed on the job. Figured if that many coaches found the Browns easy to resist, free agents might as well. Banner comes off like a 14-year super fan.

Freeman had something that said Haslam wanted (or wants) Parcells to run the team...

Gets better and better for that new coach, doesn't it?

I think I saw it in a tweet:

The Steelers have had 3 head coaches in 45 years.

The Browns have had 3 head coaches in the last 407 days.

King says that in Haslam's 17 months, the Browns have employed 56 coaches in all.

Haslam strikes me as a wanna-be Daniel Snyder.

    Which is really sad.

Actually, Banner strikes me as more of a wannabe. He made his bones in Philly on the business side, takes over Cleveland and suddenly the years of overheard chatter in the break room make him a football guy?

Three-year extension for Elway. Adds general manager title.
