+1. When I'm watching the Stanley Cup playoffs, I constantly have to fight off the urge to run to my computer to post on SportsJournalists.com. ;D

Hope the Kings make me eat my words. I picked Minnesota to win its opening-round series but don't think Game 7 will go to the Wild in Denver.

Simmons is a hack but Cox is in my top ten favourite Canuck sports writers.

I say it every year this time of year ... Doc Emerick is the best.

On NBC. He's still not as good as Bob Cole on CBC or Chris Cuthbert on TSN

Will defer to you on that. Can't compare. Down here ... no one better.

Yup. I'd put him in the top five hockey PBP guy and yeah, I like him a lot. My only gripe is that he sometimes gets overexcited about mundane plays

    Hyperbole and rhetoric...at its best.

Sharks' collapse nears completion as they fail on back-to-back power plays (they're 0 for 4 on the night) and Kings score to take 2-1 lead near end of second period.

3-1 Kings. McLellan is so fired.

And the empty-netter with two-plus minutes left makes it 4-1. Goal to Dustin Brown, the most hated King.

Sharks finish 0 for 6 on the power play tonight and 0 for their last 15 in the series.

They're stuck with these players for three more years too. A perennial soft 100-point team.
