Of all the cruel and heartless things the San Jose Sharks have inflicted on their supporters in the past 15 years, this has to be the worst..... by far.

Guess here is that the entire organization will be gutted this summer.

Three years? And I was fried here for saying fire Wilson last year. Dude's effing Teflon, despite collapse after collapse, or knows real bad stuff about upper management.

Just sent the ECHL team out there, while the Sharks try out for WWE, where choke holds are appreciated.

Of course, I was the genius who said pull Quick, right? But ya keep putting the same type of players out there year after year, keep getting the same results, and don't run the Zamboni through the front office, then this is what you deserve.

    Shouldn't that be Ph.D. Emerick?

I never knew he taught at the same place Namath played (high school) football.

Wilson would be out of a work a minute before being hired by another team. I hope they fire him and fire him soon so the Canucks could hire him.

San Jose is such a hard team to explain but Wilson has done a remarkable job of reloading on the fly. They have been good for a very long time and there is no drop off in sight with the young talent they have added.

Designations/honorifics aside, the surname is Emrick.

If your team didn't move to the second round, here's a guide to bandwagon jumping courtesy of Down Goes Brown:

And here's my favourite on Les Habs:

Habs fandom is like wandering through downtown streets after dark — lots of fun if you know your way around, but if you look too much like a tourist there’s a good chance you’re getting stabbed.

NHL's most wished for Final: Rangers vs Kings. An NBC wet dream

Least: Montreal vs Minnesota That noise you hear is viewership going down at warp speed.

Great GM and young talent, yet we have playoff collapses every year, including one of the biggest gag jobs in NHL history. And Wilson is the constant. Yet he gets a ride for doing a great job? I keep hearing this is on the coach, but, maybe it's the talent? And that starts in the front office. What am I missing here?

Props to the Kings for winning, but if you're in San Jose, and you keep seeing the same act year after year, why aren't you asking questions and making changes?

The talent? The guy got 4 draft picks for the likes of Murray and Clowe. What would you have done or would do?

Losing to better teams in the playoffs are not always collapses. It's an epic collapse, it is not easy to explain but how are you better blowing it up? There is no shame in losing to the Kings, there is in blowing a 3-0 lead. They needed one big power play goal in the last 2 games and couldn't get it. I think McClellan probably pays the price.

Go ahead and fire Wilson, I would love to see who they get that's better.

If it happens, wonder if Barry Trotz lands in San Jose?

Blow a 3-0 lead for the fourth time in NHL history, and that's not epic? 0-15 on the pp when your season is on the line? And this is the sign of a great GM, who keeps building teams that can't win when the rubber meets the road?

I usually bow to the collective wisdom and collective wiseguys of SportsJournalists.com when it comes to things I don't know abouit, but, like others have said, it's an odd situation.

The last team to blow a 3-0 playoff lead won the Stanley Cup the following season.
