Mark, the Bruins' history of playoff failure prior to 2011 was very similar to San Jose's. And about 30 years longer.

Is there anything to suggest that next year will be any different for San Jose?

Up 3-0 in a series? Two chances at home to close out the series? What possible scenario could set up more perfectly?

Agreed, but I'm thinking Hertl/Couture is the new core and you can't hang anything other than the last two years on them. They're in an interesting position where they already seem to have the Thornton/Marleau replacements in place.

No shoutout for Price's performance last night against the Bruins? He was pretty outstanding.

Only reason they were in the game.

Yeah, would've been about 6-3 Boston if he hadn't been so good.

I thought this was a good non emotional look at the Sharks and what they should do.

Freakin' matinee for Boston vs Habs. I hate afternoon hockey games.

And Renee Rancourt, the Bruins anthem singer is a horrible singer and an attention whore.

    Go Montreal!

    Agree about Rancourt.

    Go Bruins!

  11. The Pens are like a car down a cylinder.
O-3 in OT games in the playoffs is not a good start.

    And go Habs!

2-1 for Habs Carey Price after the second. Lots of nastiness in the first 1 2/3 games.
