The current core is not getting any better. Since winning the Stanley Cup in 2009, they have.....

Lost at home to Montreal in Game 7 in 2010.

Blown a 3-1 series lead and lost to Tampa Bay at home in Game 7 in 2011.

Blown out of the water in the first round by rival Philadelphia in 2012.

Had the best record in the conference, but got SWEPT by Boston in 2013.

Struggled to get by inexperienced Columbus before blowing a 3-1 lead and losing at home in Game 7 to New York in 2014.

Their roster is right up there with anyone in the league in terms of individual talent. They should have 2-3 Cups by now in the Crosby era, but, of course, they do not.

    Chicago is so underrated defensively.

In the final minutes if the Penguins were going to tie I would've thought Malkin, Kunitz, Neal or Letang would score before Crosby.
He comes through when it's time to complain or bitch about a call though.

Jesus Christ this thread is hilarious. Now Crosby never comes through? He didn't play as bad as his point totals. He was the top possession guy in the playoffs. A combination of bad luck and Henrik Lundquist were the biggest factors.

Fuck the Pens should trade him, he's nothing but a whiny bitch. Did I get that right?

And the Wild lose in OT after dominating the Hawks tonight.

Bad bounce at the end, that's all she wrote.

There such a minuscule difference between winning and losing. Those aren't your fathers Wild, they can skate and play up tempo.

Granlund has taken a step up I never thought he could.

The is the second-best series-ending goal that the refs didn't see go in right away that Kane has ever scored.
