I wonder what Darryl Sutter will say to the team now. "Flight's at 11".

2-2-1-1-1 is the way to go. how does the NBA still go 2-3-2. we don't travel by bus/train anymore.

All games at 8 p.m. EDT, except Game 2, which is 7 p.m. as the expected huge audience from the Belmont stays on with NBC. and NBCSN takes Games 3 and 4 instead of the usual 2 and 3 because of the Belmont. Yes, a slightly after 4 p.m. faceoff time in L.A. for Game 2.

NBA has reverted to 2-2-1-1-1 as of this year.

You hear Milbury saying he'd take Toews first to start a team, not Sindy?

C'mon Rick, not what I said and you know it. Crawford at 2.5 is great value, at 6 not even close.

Still the best team going forward in the league, paying an average goalie 6 with Toews and Kane coming up hurts, do you disagree?

Toews is definitely a top-10 player in the NHL, but I go back and forth on whether I'd put him in the toward the front or back of those 10.

He never gets beat by his opposite number over the course of a series, but against other elite centers he gets fought to a draw an awful lot. He'll never get beat consistently defensively, but he disappears for long stretches offensively in the playoffs. Shouldn't the "No. 1 guy to build a team around" or whatever be definitively better in a series than, say, Kopitar?

If you take him first, you better make sure you have a guy like Kane on your second line who can score in bunches when Toews isn't.

I was surprised when they locked down Crawford like that, but that front office has more than earned the benefit of the doubt from the peanut gallery.
