Kopitar might be the most underrated player in the league.

Just hard for a D-man to win it. But he's deserving, no doubt. So is Kopitar, even though Kopitar doesn't have the post-season goal totals that Gaborik and Carter do.

That Lundqvist guy is pretty damn awesome.

Kings just got absolutely hosed there.

How so? Puck was batted, not covered. Unlucky but not hosed.

Conn Smythe has to go to Justin Williams. He has been clutch all four rounds.

67.4 Penalty Shot - If a defending player, except a goalkeeper, while play is in progress, falls on the puck, holds the puck, picks up the puck, or gathers the puck into his body or hands from the ice in the goal crease area, the play shall be stopped immediately and a penalty shot shall be awarded to the non-offending team. See also Rule 63 – Delaying the Game.

Wouldn't it be considered gathering it in his hand?

Thought he pushed it forward, could be called a hand pass, he pretty much pushed it under Lundqvist.

No, he pushed it. He didn't close his hand on the puck.

I agree. For some odd reason, I get a chuckle when on-air media mispronounce his first name. It happens a lot.

Conn Smythe? I'm with Gold - Justin Williams.

Gretzky was on television the other day saying he thinks that behind Crosby and Toews, Kopitar might be the third best player in the world. For Conn Smythe, I'm looking at Carter. Without his effort, the Kings likely would have lost to the Sharks and he's been steady every round since.

LA needs to re-sign Gaborik this summer. He and Kopitar have made each other better.
