Garbutt nominated for Goon of the Week. See ya, cheap shot.

Someone should have warned the Blues about that pesky fifth skater.

Of course, one of the Ducks did that earlier in the series and just got five minutes.

NBA officials think NHL officiating is horseshit.

Ryan Miller is getting paid a large sum of money to make saves on plays like that one in clutch situations for St. Louis. Once again, he did not deliver.

Jamie Benn might turn out to be pretty good. He's not really that old yet.

I'm hoping that's an intentional understatement for humorous effect. With Mark, you never know.

    Agreed.

Tip of the cap to Corey Crawford. Since Game 2, he's taken his play to a higher level. Perfect scenario for St. Louis to lose four straight for the second consecutive season: quick turnaround for a road game in front of one of the best home crowds in the league.

I like Benn a lot. I don't think he's reached his peak, yet. Of course one never really knows what the future will hold. With Benn and Seguin, Dallas could be pretty good for a few years.

Through 10 days, Boston has looked like the best team. Just no real weaknesses.

Not really a dominant team in the Western Conference. I think San Jose has probably looked the best so far, but who knows if that continues? I could see any of 5-6 teams winning the West.

Will be interested to see if Minnesota can keep the lid on Colorado's speed? Only allowed one goal in two games in St. Paul.

Gosh, Boston just looks so inpenetrable defensively. Just don't allow anything.

Wow, can't get that type of insight just anywhere

Especially in places that don't even know Dallas has a real NHL team.
