Watching Smackdown tonight, and there's apparently a Hornswoggle vs. El Torito feud going on. It struck me that's it's been ages since we've seen a straight-up midget vs. midget match.
Can't wait until they get Adam Rose's party guy in there. Could be seeing a renaissance in the midget division.

And is/was the cruiserweight title on the line?

 

Hornswoggle, who seems to have a new gimmick. He was out there with 3MB -- filling in for Heath Slater, who's on the Saudi Arabia tour -- and shirtless, which is NOT a good look for him.
Ever seen a fat midget? Watch a replay of that match and you shall.

 

The midget match was hilarious because JBL crapped all over it with over-the-top commentary.

Kept pointing out how silent the crowd was.

If something sucks, JBL will always take the opportunity to properly bury it. Bad for business, I guess, but I think it's hilarious.

 

Word is circulating that Daniel Bryan's dad has passed away.

Bryan will still be at Raw tonight.

 

Talk about a roller-coaster ride for him. Winning the belt and getting married, then the deaths of his father and one of his wrestling idols.

 

I thought that segment fell incredibly flat, though it's awesome seeing masked Kane again.

Too much Stephanie yelling at Kane to stop.

 

Segment was good. Would have been great if Stef would have just shut up after the attack started. I kept thinking Dixie Carter had jumped to the E.

 

I wonder if Ryback's story was legit, that his dad was a bartender in Vegas and used to serve Hennig and Hall at AWA tapings.

 

Until this moment, I had no clue what Aksana's entrance music was. I don't recall them ever showing her entrance before, unless it was in a tag match.

 

Stephanie with the belts was odd too, I mean I suppose they're not going to drape the belts over the stretcher but it just seemed off when she was holding it up
