If it's still the porn sax, they played it every time she entered a scene when she was hitting on Teddy Long back when he was the Smackdown GM. Then he got fired and she dumped him for a debuting Antonio Cesaro, which probably nobody remembers.

News just coming out that Nancy Grace is going to devote one of her shows this week to pro wrestling.

Wow, that should be great. She'll probably blame steroids for the death of Daniel Bryan's father.

Part of me wants to watch to see how bad and outlandish it is. Part of me doesn't want to have anything to do with Nancy Grace.
    I'm torn.

Well, to be honest, professional wrestling is pretty awful if you think about it even a little past the surface. Which I try not to.

These type of shows usually try to rip on WWE, only they end up showing footage from some third-rate Indy show and claim it's the E.

Whenever I'd see that, it used to always bug me. There's plenty to rip on, just be accurate about it.

I guess this is her way of firing back on the WWE for banning their wrestlers and staff from appearing on her show.

The guest list will likely be a who's who of jilted ex-WWErs. Marc Mero? Val Venis? Is Damien Demento relevant enough?

Not much in this week’s Observer:

    - WWE Network released a new documentary on Warrior on April 17, and it’s getting shockingly rave reviews. (Grantland’s Cheap Heat podcast also gave it a lot of props.) Tons of new interviews with Triple H and McMahon, plus it has Warrior and Hogan reacting to one another, unscripted, backstage.

    - Sting still hasn’t signed his WWE contract, but a DVD is coming out in the fall that he’s participated in. He’s also on the aforementioned Warrior documentary.

    - Foley has heat with WWE, over him questioning creative’s booking of Daniel Bryan on his FB and Twitter, and because he’s questioning his video game payouts on FB. WWE didn’t renew his ambassador contract and instead offered him just a Legends “holding” sort of deal, which he turned down.

WWE is believed to have a good shot at signing University of Minnesota heavyweight Tony Nelson, who won wrestling titles in 2012 and 2013 but lost in the finals this year. He’s also gotten interest from the NFL though.

    - For TNA, Christopher Daniels’ contract expires at the end of April. Frankie Kazarian’s contract expires at the end of May. The agent for both is booking them for plenty of indy dates, and it’s expected that TNA will not retain them. Chris Sabin’s contract is believed to be up toward the end of May, and he also won’t be renewed.

Rockstar Spud has been signed to a multi-year deal. Tom Latimer has been offered a deal; he’s married to Ashley Fliehr, and was in WWE development / FCW before being released for fighting with a cop.

    - Announced for the ROH PPV on June 22 so far are Matt Hardy, Kevin Steen, Mark and Jay Briscoe, Adam Cole, Michael Elgin, Maria and Jay Lethal. The show will be carried by all of the major PPV players, who are looking to supplement their income now that they’re getting out of the WWE PPV game.

    - Hermie Sadler of the Sadler brothers auto racing fame is on the board of directors for Jarrett’s new wrestling promotion, Global Force Wrestling.

    Spoiler stuff:

    - A.J. Styles likely won’t be available for the ROH PPV because he’s booked for a New Japan PPV on June 21. He could take a redeye and make it, but it would be tough and also cost a lot.

    - Batista is not listed for any shows after May 4. Likewise, there is no timetable for AJ’s return.

    - Although Cena teased being disappointed with the fan reaction on the latest Raw, there are no plans to turn him. Without Punk in the company, Cena’s merchandise outsells the No. 2 guy, Daniel Bryan, five-to-one.

Also, Santino was on Jericho's podcast, Talk Is Jericho, this week. He's apparently the one wrestler who still really believes in kayfabe, because he did the entire interview in-character, and talked about his humble upbringing in a small Italian village. This led me to his Wikipedia page, and two things: 1) He's actually Canadian and 2) His daughter is now 18 and definitely a 6: http://missteenontario.ca/hello-from-bianca-carelli-miss-teen-ontario-world-2013/

    Wearing sheep masks.

Creepy. It'd be even creepier if the Wyatt's attack Cena, then the kids all attack Cena.

Slater gets the pin as 3MB actually beats the Matadores, leading to this awesome JBL call:

"Barry Horowitz is spinning in his grave, and he's not even dead!"
