I knew Cena's dad would play into the Orton.feud as soon as they showed him. Last time, he got punted.

Kofi gets a win and Cena's dad gets beaten up again for what, the 3rd or 4th time?

If they really wanted to get emotion, they should have Orton RKO Nikki Bella. Except, that would make him a babyface.

A: Cena's dad, a table, and the Spanish announcer's table.
Q: Name three things guaranteed to be broken in half once they're mentioned during a wrestling show.

That crowd was MOLTEN hot for Bryan breaking the
    spell.

DB is as over as anyone since The Rock/SCSA.

So much for Daniel Bryan's heel turn. And it made sense, too, as Wyatt was trapped in the cage with him with Rowan and Harper locked outside.

And who would have thought that we'd have a show in which Kofi pins the world champion, the Usos get the win on a Raw main event and the Ultimate Warrior is announced as a Hall of Fame inductee?

Great finish. I assume we'll still get a Bryan-Bray match at the Rumble, but that was tremendous. Great production work, too. The announcers just let it breathe and didn't talk over it -- I think Cole had some comments, but nothing that took away from the moment -- and the camera crew did an awesome job with the wide-angle crowd shots showing the entire arena chanting for Bryan.

I'm feeling fairly certain now after tonight that Kane will be making a return at the Royal Rumble (one of his best events) to help lift Daniel Bryan to victory. He's DB's rat on the inside with The Authority and I think he set that cage match up for DB on a silver platter.

Holy hell, that's brilliant. Which means, of course, that there's no way that's ever going to happen.
Loved the finish to tonight's episode and had a feeling it was coming once I saw the two Usos get out of the cage. Seeing Bryan and Bray in the cage alone, it dawned on me that the other two half-wits were outside and there was a lock preventing them from getting in so, naturally, it was the perfect place for him to turn.
All in all, not a bad show. I had the chance to go tonight as it's in my hometown but I didn't feel like ponying up for the tickets. Not too bummed I didn't go but I wouldn't have minded seeing that live.

  10. From the Department of Redundancy Department: Daniel Bryan is unbelievably popular. As mentioned earlier, he's reaching Rock/SCSA levels of over with the crowd. It makes it a hell of a lot of fun to watch when the entire crowd if behind one guy like that. I hope the predictions about Kane are right on. Would be one of the better angles the E has done in awhile and would have some actual foresight behind it.

Can't believe Orton lost clean to Kofi. What am I missing there? What is the end game for something like that? If it was just a mechanism to piss off Orton to beat up Cena's dad, that's a pretty lame way to do it and it makes your unified champion look like crap.

One thing I have to complain about that I'm sure nobody cares about: why did they have Lesnar beat up Henry with Big Show as the savior to set up Lesnar/Show? I know I'm a Henry mark (no pun intended) but wouldn't people care more about that match if it was Lesnar/Henry as opposed to Lesnar/Show? Don't people care more about Henry than Show? Just me?

Pretty sure the thinking behind this is the usual Vince McMahon logic that brought us the brilliant Ryback vs. Henry feud last year where Vince goes "OK, you two. You're both big guys. We're going with that."

  12. Right but Henry is big, too. Just seems like Henry more compelling than Show and has size. Not a big deal but I hate what they've done to Henry. He was killing it with that Cena angle last year even as a placeholder and they tanked him after.
