Sheamus-Cesaro should be very good, especially if they wrestle snug. Shield-Evolution will probably be fine, presuming there's little Batista involvement. Cena-Wyatt, who knows? Last Man Standing matches have the potential to be great, but Cena's involved, so it also has the potential for him to duct-tape Wyatt's ankles to the ropes to win. Unless RVD finds a time machine in his stash, his match against Barrett won't be anything special. Unless Alicia Fox has improved considerably, her match against Paige won't be anything special. Torito-Horny will be harmless fun.

But unless Punk comes back and wrestles a one-hour Ironman match with Sami Zayn, I don't see how it'll match up with Takeover.

The Evolution/Shield match has to live up to another classic six-man tag I'm watching right now: MIA vs. 3 Count at WCW Fall Brawl 2000. It was fucking magic in the ring that night, I tell ya. (Tangent: Those who don't like Adam Rose should remember Kwee-Wee. Look it up. It could be worse.)

I'm trying to catch up on NXT from a few weeks ago, so I haven't watched Takeover yet.

And who was Kwee Wee's manager? None other than Queen Sharmell.

Do you guys do some sort of pick em' for the Pay Per Views?

Can you imagine the conversation backstage?

"Sharmell, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Iukea just isn't working out, so we're going to put you with a flamboyant-but-closeted-gay-but-we're-not-calling-him-gay guy we're calling Kwee-Wee. Your name is still Paisley. Work for you? Great. You're on in five."

    Intercontinental Championship
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Rob Van Dam
Result: Bad News Barrett via pinfall

I wouldn't deter far from your predictions. It's shaping up to be a predictable card. Maybe because it's Chicago, Cesaro will be cheered as the face while Sheamus booed as the heel. I don't think it would lead to a double-turn, but wouldn't that be great? Sheamus is just sooooo stale.

Considering WCW frequently booked things on the fly, that's probably not too far-fetched.

How did Cody not get killed on that moonsault attempt? That was scary bad.

So, after having a tag team break-up tease that lasts longer than most tag teams in the first place, Cody throws a pity party instead of attacking his partner, then sulks away. This is modern pro wrestling.

Chicago crowd's "Holy Shit!" chant directed at Lana's cleavage, not Big E's dive to the outside on Rusev.
