I actually kind of liked that. The "Let's break up. Now I will attack you," crap is too predictable.
Oh and that Big E-Rusev match was pretty good, most likely because it was too short for me to lose interest. Great booking right there.

I wasn't implying it was a bad way to start the break up. Like you pointed out, it's outside the norm. I think my biggest problem is that they were cooled off of TV for so long that I forgot they were still working, that they were on a losing streak, and that Cody was showing a lack of confidence. So, why should I care now?

And now to find out what happens with the world title.

That slap looked weak, but that's a better ending than what would have happened in the past. They would have had Bryan give up the belt, then have his wife fired.

In the past, it might have devolved into an Evening Gown Match or Bra & Panties Match.

    I'd be OK with that.

Cool that Obama brought Daniel Bryan to The White House to recognize him
    for his WWE Championship.

Eh, SuperCena wins. But that was fun to watch.

That was a terrific match but another example of why having SuperCena be SuperCena is bad for the company. That would have been the perfect spot for a Wyatt win to elevate him to a whole new level but you can't get Wyatt a clean win based on the history of Cena being the top dog so he either wins by cheating or he loses.
Still, great match. Wyatt can go and Cena is criminally underrated as a worker as well, even if his character arc is more a flat line than an actual arc.

Was that little shot of pyro toward the end of Cena-Wyatt accidental? If so, yikes. Hope nobody was standing in the wrong spot.

Nah. I think it was for effect. Neither Paige or Fox have pyro nor do the Shield/Evolution so there would be no point in having it up there since, in theory, the pyro seems to be done for the night.
Speaking of Paige, am I the only one completely and utterly disappointed in her right now? I mean, I know she's only 21 but she hasn't shown me a damn thing since she's come up to the main roster. I liked her in NXT but the version we're getting of her here has just been, well, boring.

Did Batista miss the memo on what color Evolution was wearing tonight? Or is that his team's alternate third trunks?

There was a discussion on the Cheap Heat podcast about how some NXT talents aren't transitioning well to the main roster in terms of crowd reaction from a Raw audience versus an NXT audience. The problem is that not everyone who watches Raw watches NXT, so the bulk of the audience still doesn't know who people like Paige, Bo Dallas, or Adam Rose are. So, they show up on Raw and flatline. Between leaving NXT and showing up on Raw, there still needs to be promotion of the character beyond two or three weeks of 30-second clips. Then again, guys like the Shield were completely repackaged before making the main roster.
