    Or here's another idea.
Vacate the title and have two MITB matches -- the first for the MITB contract, and the second for the title. Have a heel (Orton, perhaps, although he'd probably be in the second match) win the contract, then cash in on Cena right after he wins the title.
Or just have the contract-holder sitting out there stalking the champ. Either way, the WWE can get on with its life and the door is always open for Bryan to return as the uncrowned champion when he's healthy again.

Works fine, too. For the sake of Bryan's health, he should have vacated. Gives him more time to fully recover, he doesn't get stale, still plenty of heat on The Authority for unleashing Kane and stripping the title, heat on Kane, heat on who wins the title.

This if-he-can-or-if-he-can't is no way to book a show.

Dear Jerry: Wyatt isn't here because he's selling the fallout of a match, something SuperCena dorsn't do.

I feel like JBL should use Cody Rhodes' disappointment story line to rail against the entitlement issues of Gen Y.

So if you get a medal for beating Big E, does a win over Cena come with a blow job by Lana?

In modern WWE, the foreign monster is a heel AND the All-American blue-eyed athlete us a ... heel. Huh. Anyone think Zeb and Swagger eventually turn face?

Just as soon as folks start talking about the Shield being one of the best factions, we get the split.

Rollins just turned on Reigns and Ambrose, joining Trips and Orton.

    Why, Seth? Damn it, WHY?

JR sure is missed in moments like this.

Glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. I kept hearing him say, "Aw, son of a bitch!"
Gotta admit, I didn't see that coming there. Also not real enthused by it at this point. I was enjoying The Shield as a faction. They had a good thing going. It makes some sense from a storyline perspective, I suppose, but from a reality perspective why do this now?

Leave it to the E to fuck up a good thing.

I thought they'd do it after Flair kind of "left" Evolution and endorsed the Shield a few weeks to fill the "fourth" spot. I'm surprised they waited until Bluetista quit.....Would've made more sense at the PPV too. The Shield just won, convincingly, so why would Rollins jump to the losing team now?

I am sad that The Shield are done...but it feels great to be genuinely shocked by a heel turn for the first time in EVER. They have done so well with this angle that I actually have confidence that there will be a good enough reason for the turn. Maybe Trips made some of the same promises he made to Batista?
