I don't understand why Lesnar needs the title. Is he returning full time? Would make more sense to me to have him win it at the Rumble or the Chamber and drop it at Mania.

Same here. That bump looked nasty. As far as the match goes, at first, I wasn't paying that much attention, but they sucked me in. I was thinking it would have been really something if E had broken out of the camel clutch, but of course, it didn't happen.

Also loved JBL's lines about supporting college budddies in fights unless they start getting beaten up, then beating them as well and bringing in a Bronco Lubich reference.

It would add to his aura for when he does drop the belt.

Someone else said it earlier, but it was a huge mistake to have him lose to Cena and Trips. He should have been going through the roster as the ex-UFC champ until he dropped the belt. Would have permanently made the next guy.

I'm still confused on Big E's new style of promo. He's cut them before in a completely normal tone of voice. Right now, he sounds like he's trying to do Richard Pryor's ghetto reverend, but in a deeper voice.

That was me. I didn't technically say it, Jericho said it on his podcast and I brought it up. But if he wins at SS, I wonder how long he's around. Night of Champions in September? Hell in a Cell in October? Later? Don't get me wrong, it would be cool as hell. I just never thought he was willing to do long term programs anymore.

I thought the show was awesome. The first ladder match was much better than the second one and I think Cesaro kind of got lost, he could've flipped with Ziggler and maybe come out looking stronger with some spots in the first match with guys who can do the spots.

They made Rollins and Ambrose though. Outstanding stuff.

Thought the Usos/Wyatts match was really good, better than I expected. Has there ever been a bigger difference between the divas that can work and they ones that can't on one show? Paige's match with Naomi was really solid and that other thing with Fandango was attrocious.

Interesting that it seemed like Cena took the most bumps in the title match, then wins. Good for him for trying to make the other guys look good, but from a psychology standpoint him taking all that punishment then hulking up for two FU's and a win makes no sense.

What bumps did he take? The only huge one I remember was a brogue kick from Sheamus. He got knocked down a few times, then would disappear for long stretches. Most everyone had a moment, but I thought the only one who did less than Cena was Del Rio.
Sheamus, Cesaro and Orton carried that match -- especially Sheamus, who was a freaking workhorse -- with Kane playing an important supporting role and Reigns having a few moments to shine. Cena was no better than the sixth-most active person in that match.

He took a spear from Reigns, I thought, and he also took a chokeslam from Kane and one of the few real "high risk" spots when Bray suplexed him on top of the the propped up ladder. That and when the ladder was propped up between the announce table and the ring were the only two big bumps I remember......the hanging sequence was cool but not really a huge bump.

Can't afford the money machine to get seriously injured and take time off. He's an A+ player.

He's also now 37, with surgeries for a triceps tear, a herniated disk and a torn pectoral muscle all in the past six years. I do think he's a hard worker and kind of the "victim" of being booked as Superman, as opposed to being like Hogan and always maneuvering politically to protect his spot on the card. But he's getting toward the portion of his career where he should be segueing toward a reduced schedule.

    Swagger vs. Rusev, eh?

As long as they let Lana and Zeb do the talking, this could be very, very good.

I agree with this......right now, it's not Cena's fault Punk left and Bryan has a legit injury.

    Also----Jericho!
