Since Heyman wasn't there to repeat BRRRROCK. LESSNANNAR every five seconds, the drinking game of the night could have been every time the network was mentioned.

Missed the first two hours and then fell asleep before the second beat the clock match ... dammit

Is JBL's hat the new Spanish announcer's table?

Finally got around to listening to Cheap Heat last week, and apparently most of the staff cuts came by shuttering the WWE magazine. It truly is the end of an era.

Second Raw in a row to end with Stephanie-Brie, and the second Raw in a row to end with declining numbers from the second hour to the third.

I really hope Cena and Brock close the show next week. Three straight weeks of viewership declining in the final hour will not be a good thing.

It was originally called Victory Magazine, and the announcement to the WWF magazine name change came on what officially is considered the first Piper's Pit, when Piper told announcer Robert DeBord that he was taking over "Victory Corner".

DeBord died in 2008, of a heart attack. Here's his obit:

    Title belt still looks ugly.

SmackDown moving back to Thursday? Wonder what that means for NXT?

And for TNA? Surely any slim chance they had of landing a new deal with Spike is nuked by that move, right?

Agree, although an argument could be made that the shows would help one another, being on the same night. I don't think WWE ratings were hurt when Impact moved briefly to Monday... It was more that Impact ratings cratered because the show was obviously bad when compared to Raw. If two shows have competent booking, then you could argue that it creates competition and ratings, but that's only ever happened once in wrestling history.

And that whole idea hinges on TNA having competent booking. So ... yeah.

I like the current WWE title, but holy monkey balls does that new logo look shit-tastic as a belt design. I know it's basically the same belt, but the logo doesn't work. Makes the main plate look like it was taken off a bad zig-zag shower curtain pattern from a Kohl's.
