The season premiere thing isn't new, but it's been a few years since The E tried to convince us it was a big deal when it's not.

If these Bella segments are supposed to get more laughably bad each week, creative is excelling at the task. What's next? Nikki is carrying Bryan's goat baby?

By the way, anybody else notice that Rollins was about an inch away from being impaled on the spikes at the bottom of the cage. When did the cage get floor supporys like that? Who thought that was a good idea?

Near death on live TV. Not very PG.

That was the kind of fuck up I would have expected to see on Nitro circa fall 2000.

Well, back to something we're seeing way too often: Former WWE and WCW wrestler Sean O'Haire dies.

Don't know the circumstances yet, but at 43, you can't help but think it's from less-than-natural causes.

Seems like it's been a while since we've had a wrestler die young. RIP

He had a lot of potential and they did put him with Piper for a while to try to get a rub from him, then they eventually dropped just dropped him. But that's what we already know.

The other cool memory I have is when he made his WWE debut as part of the Invasion. It happened on the first night, and he came in and did a swanton on Jeff Hardy. I thought it was great to show that a WCW guy could do the same thing as a WWF guy.

I was coming over to post this, but here it is. I guess you could say that you aren't telling me anything I didn't already know.

Since nobody mentioned it, I think they FINALLY did the right thing by NXT standards. First, they acknowledged it on a live broadcast and then they had the 4-man tag match with Neville/Zayn vs. Kidd/Breeze.

Zayn was over with the Ole chants and Neville got himself over with his work rate and Red Arrow finisher.

I'm torn. Part of me likes that they got a few minutes to sell Thursday's show, but now they don't get the debut buildup when any of them join the roster full-time. Maybe Breeze if he goes back to NXT for a while since he's probably the least ready of the four.
