Also, on a related note, Noelle Foley was there and she's ever bit as lovely as advertised. First off, big props to her for going to AND ENJOYING Ring of Honor. That's awesome.
Secondly, she could not have been nicer to fans. I met her and talked to her for a bit and she seemed like the nicest person. I really wish her well and will definitely be rooting for her to get a shot at following in Mick's footsteps.

I Googled Veda Scott. She's not doin' it for me. Noelle Foley? Sheeeeeeeit, as Clay Davis might say.

Yeah, to me Veda is a damn goddess. But I like girls with glasses so sue me. :)
And Noelle is awesome. Such a sweet girl. Got a photo with her and, after we took it, she asked me to look at it and make sure I liked it before I left or we could retake it. And she was really cool about meeting fans. But I've always found everyone at an ROH show to be like that, actual company talent included. It's a great promotion.

Figured I'd share a couple of my Final Battle pics from last night and get some feedback. Didn't take a ton of photos as my vantage point sucked and I wanted to watch the show but here are my favorites:

First off, reDRagon tore the house down.

Second, Adam Cole pretty much dead in the ring after that brutal match against Jay Briscoe.

Last but not least, your Ring of Honor World Champion Jay Briscoe stands tall in NYC:

Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose is really great as a feud.

Seth Rollins is bigger than I remember. Has he always had a neck that long/thick?

Saint Mick: "Give this Slammy to Al from Lima, Ohio. I know he always wanted one."

Al Snow hasn't been around for years now, and Mick Foley us still razzing on him.

Ziggler went face first through that table. That didn't look too good.

    No it did not.

Not sure if Harper didn't hit the right spot or what, but that looked like it hurt.

No possible way that could have been the planned spot, given Dolph's issues with concussions.

At least it wasn't Ryback that did it to him.

The Reigns Slammy bugs me more than it should. Lesnar, Ambrose, Rollins all had better years but they seem hell bent on pushing Reigns like he's Bryan. He's not. Bryan main evented Summerslam before his Wrestlemania moment, Reigns was on third tier matches with Kane and Randy Orton.

In a realistic scenario, it should've been Rollins. Started the year with The Shield, which turned face and was pushed to the moon post-WrestleMania — and depending on who you talk to, Rollins was a solid worker who seemed to be third on the priority list within that faction. He provides a surprising heel turn to break up the faction, goes solo (w/Authority backing), wins MITB, is one-half of the premier rivalry of the year's second half with Ambrose, and finishes the year as the top heel who actually bothers to show up and wrestle.

Reigns had a solid start to the year and has the look Vince adores. Ambrose is the new IWC people's champion based partially on his indy darling status, but also because his personality jumps off the screen. But Rollins is the whole package — look, fitness, in-ring ability, getting more believable on the mic — and he had the most growth not only among his old faction, but among the main roster. If he's not the MVP, he's certainly the Most Improved.

Ditto for Ambrose throwing chairs into the ring ... and one landing directly on Wyatt's head. You could see his immediate reaction when he chair hit him.
