    Maybe ...

Meanwhile, the Shield cuts a promo on the Wyatts, with this great line (paraphrasing here) by Ambrose: "We don't believe in your ghosts and rocking chairs, so take that crap somewhere else!"

The writers have been doing quite well so far with the promos of this feud.

Big deal. If you've seen one pair of boobs, you ...
pretty much want to see them all. :)
Give me (in this order): Lita, AJ, Eva Marie, the Bella Twins and then (and only then) am I interested in Mrs. Rae.

Which means they're setting it up for Batista to beat all six of them cleanly in a six-on-one match at the chamber.

  4. The Shield and the Wyatts are awesome. Huge fan of both.

Also, random note on a topic from earlier in this thread: the Daniel Bryan merchandise is pretty awful but so is most of it. I did think The Shield has some pretty cool stuff but other than that, pretty awful looking stuff.

Give me a few minutes to figure out why I'm still not happy. I'll come up with something.

It says a lot about the state of the WWE that we can make a joke out of this, yet also have to worry that they'll come up with something that ridiculous.

Also agreed that it was a much improved Raw. Wyatts vs. Shield has me drooling at the promos alone. Great stuff. I like that Rowan and Harper are getting a bit more in. Harper has talent to offer, and Rowan comes off nice and creepy as take on Rob Zombie's version of Michael Myers. Whichever commentator said that originally had it right. Not sure if it was the plan all along or if someone made the connection after the fact. If Punk has walked, so be it. I eagerly await the Shield's break up. Give Dean a microphone and put the man to work. Definitely the personality of the group even if he isn't going to get the initial big push. Ideally, this back and forth between Dean and Roman blows into a career-long rivalry.

The booking for the Bryan/Orton match was great until the Kane bullshit. Is it too much to ask to have a clean match every now and then? Both of those guys were delivering just fine. Bryan brings out the best in Orton. Anyone who doubts should compare their matches to the good enough Cena/Orton matches of late. Orton and Cena can be a little lazy with a match if someone isn't there to push them. It's why they're not that great together. Don't know which agent booked it or if it was called more in the ring, but Bryan's matches always come off much better when he's not just going through his move set at 100 mph after getting the hot tag. I like watching the guy kick the shit out of his opponent and being a mean little bastard.

I know I miss a lot watching the Hulu version, but these were the only segments to get excited about. Did I miss anything on Sheamus and Cena? Who gives a shit? I watched the show an hour ago and just realized they weren't on.

Cena didn't appear till after the show went off the air, hitting the ring to "save" Bryan. It was supposed to be Cena-Orton in that spot, but Cena got hurt -- by Orton, no less -- in a house show match over the weekend.

Given I've made the first post of the night, it's safe to say that Raw is a snooze. But Lita is going into the HOF. Yummy.

Well, we've still got Cena-Orton, which will be a solid Raw main event until they get the six-man schmoz ending to hype the Chamber (or Lesnar to come out and destroy both of them).
They've also teased Reigns vs. Ambrose for the U.S. Title. Will be interesting to see if they actually go that route tonight.

Pretty blah RAW all the way around. Still no idea of what they are going to do to interest me in Mania.

Uh, duh, Batista vs. Randy Orton.
How can you possibly resist that?
