Part of the problem is that there's an art to simplicity, and designers went to that well pretty frequently in the Monday Night War days (Austin 3:16, nWo, DX). But now a simple black shirt will look like a second-class knockoff, either indirectly or directly (the rKo shirt early in Orton's run). So the designers get to designing, and the result is an awful lot of trying too hard (Dolph Ziggler apparently gets his shirts in a storefront on the Ocean City boardwalk).

Outside of Punk's first BITW white shirt, I can't think of any non-throwback, non-ironic pro wrestling apparel that I'd be caught dead in public wearing. Maybe the sheep mask.

I've got to admit, the sheep mask is awesome. I know in the beginning, Wyatt explained that we're all sheep, but for a long time, I was thinking, "This guy is so nuts he's wearing a sheep mask."

Helluva match between Cesaro and Cena. That superplex by Cesaro where Cena was outside the ring was impressive.

This has been a really great RAW. Cena-Cesaro is a match to remember. I still think my favorite part was the Rhodes brothers playing lego and Barrett knocking them over.

That match could be career-defining for Antonio. Helluva match. That man has been on fire lately, and I wouldn't doubt he'll be the champ sooner rather than later.

  6. Really glad to see the course reversal on Cesaro. He showed so much potential and looked on his way then just got buried. Now he's back in the mix. Hope this isn't a dead cat bounce just to make him look legit for the Chamber. But that was a hell of a match. He belongs in main events. Hat tip to Cena, too.

I don't get why The Shield interjected there, but I got so excited to see them finally go at it with The Wyatt Family, even if only for a minute.

Because it's the final Raw before a big PPV. And we know how all Raws before those always end: with everyone in the biggest match -- or, matches, in this case -- in the ring.

Wyatts vs. Shield is the most anticipated non-main-event I can remember in awhile.

Agreed. The buildup has been great and the characters mix so well.

Seriously, that was my favorite Raw since Punk was champion.
