Unless they were to do something where if Bryan wins, he gets inserted in the match.

Several of the websites reporting he was. Considering they stopped after Wyatt elbowed him, instead of giving him another Sister Abigail, he might have really been hurt.

A flying Uso pulled off a mid-air DX chop in the middle of a frog splash. Wicked.

It's never 100% sure, but it sure seems like Cena is legit hurt. I think most telling is how there was no Sister Abigail. The segment felt like it ended a bit abruptly.

Watching the replay, what I notice is that he is actually swatting them away while he's on the ground, and that's just not characteristic of a fake beatdown/injury. That's panic. Or I'm just a dumb effing mark.

I don't know if it was panic, but you can see the knee buckle when they all jump on him, and he makes sure he turns away so that his knee is outside the ropes and his back is to them.

If my biggest paycheck of the year was six weeks away and that happened, I'd sure as hell be panicked.

  8. Thought it was pretty clear Cena was hurt. You could see the random WWE medical guy come over and check on him after Wyatts beat him down the first time. He went back for more and took more but if you go back and watch you can see him being checked on. I know they have a code word or whatever, have to think there's at least something there.

Wyatts/Shield stuff is so good. Glad to see they're continuing it though it's silly to me that they used the exact same method for creating drama within a faction for Ambrose/Shield that they used two hours ago for Cesaro/Swagger.

I mostly enjoyed Cesaro/Big E but Big E still needs a lot of polish. Cesaro clearly more ready for primetime.

Cena looked like he was in pain and he was in panic mode. The WWE medical guy usually isn't in the shot with the worked injuries.

But the way they showed the footage of him going out makes me think it could be a work and they're on to people being able to recognize the "medical trainers" in segment and working us. Maybe.

It it was a work (which I will never, ever rule out. I still wait for Chris Benoit to make a heel run-in), it was an incredibly well-done one.

    And Undertaker is back.

Nobody gets more bored with the Undertaker streak than I do, but that was pretty cool. First, anything Paul Heyman does is awesome. Second, everyone's just assuming he's going to stare at Lesnar then the WM sign for awhile, and suddenly he stabs him in the hand with a pen.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way the buildup to Wrestlemania is looking. People just have to accept that they are going to get their mainstream crossover with Orton-Batista and that's that, but instead of moaning about it, they should look at how great the rest of the card is looking. The title feud was relatively (very relatively, of course) buried tonight in favor of the stuff we claim we want to see.
