Gotta admit I wasn't too excited about Taker and Brock, but the end of that segment has me sold. This feud, much like with Punk last year, could be gold, and it's because of who's in Brock's corner.

Wonder if they'll try and tie the whole "Heyman guy" stuff in?

Only the Undertaker can get an entire arena into a "Holy shit" chant for a simple chokeslam through a table.

I still say Bearer's death and how it was exploited really put Punk/Taker over the top. Right or wrong, it made for great TV.

Some part of me thought, "Taker should sign in blood." Then he fucking stabs Brock. Good enough.

WWE Backstage Pass on the Network is supposedly interviewing a "real" WWE doctor. No idea if he is the real doctor or if a doctor is contractually required to be in on a work. Damn, what are the medical ethics of that?

I'm sorry, but, what? Outside if a shoehorned Taker/Brock feud, what are we excited about?

Maybe if Cena has surgery, the E can videotape it and show it in all it's bloody glory like they did years ago for Superstar Graham's hip operation?

I don't feel especially up for WrestleMania right now, but I also wonder how it'll change should Cena be out for an extended period. They've already locked in Orton-Batista, Bryan-HHH and Undertaker-Lesnar, so it seems fairly obvious you go with round 2 of Shield-Wyatts in some sort of awesome stip match at which time you finally drive the dagger through the heart of the Shield as constructed now and send Roman Reigns on his way to tippy-top face land (if you REALLY wanted to drive that point home, you could rig up some spin on the Wrestlemania 9 ending where Reigns challenges whoever wins the Orton-Batista match immediately afterward and wins, but that's probably playing with fire).

Having Reigns (or Bryan, which would be the more popular choice of course) swoop in for the title at the end would also help seal the full-on Batista heel turn that really has to be coming at this point. Orton beats Batista by nefarious means, somehow gets involved in an immediate rematch (maybe Vince forces it), face wins, then Batista with the blessing of the Authority attacks Orton and the new champ on the next Raw to set up a match at the next PPV.

A double-turn would be a better idea to get Batista to heel, but while Orton's been placed in relatively sympathetic circumstances with the Sybil-inspired actions of the Authority, his character shows none of that, and he's been a shitty face every time he's tried it.

We may know how they move forward with Batista soon. The Raw post-show advertised him addressing fan reaction on SmackDown. With how tonight's segment played out and how the negative reaction wasn't a one-time thing, how does he not turn? But, how does Orton turn? Does creative let fans turn him by just not being Dave Batista or do they do have Randy get fed up with Steph and have him RKO her again?

And if Cena is out, I can only see an extension of the Shield/Wyatt feud and eventual break up of the Shield as a logical Plan B. Wyatt will still be around when Cena comes back (after returning three months ahead of schedule again).

Bryan/Wyatt does nothing to excite me. Remember when another fan favorite spoke out against Triple H and had a match? CM Punk jobbed at Night of Champions 2011. Triple H was replaced by Johnny Ace, Punk's authority feud was handed over to Cena, Punk became a midcard world champion.

That's the price The E is paying for not booking things any better.

PW Torch reporting that Cena is not hurt, that it's a work to show Cena "never giving up". One commenter suggested they did it to push their online stuff.

If that's the case, seems like an awkward way to go at it, unless they're trying to poke fun at the smarts. Why not just have the Wyatts do something to work on the knee, instead of a mystery fall?

As much as I want DB in the main event of Mania, the crowd reaction to Bootista vs. Borton may be worth the price of admission alone.
