Am I the only one completely underwhelmed by the fact that this is the week before WrestleMania?

The event doesnt really feel like the culmination of much, except the Bryan storyline, if it goes that way. Wyatt-Cena seems like the beginning of a program. The Shield match feels like something throw together on Raw. Actually, they've thrown together better for the Shield on Raws of recent vintage.

There seems to be a growing storyline among WWE supporters that the Bryan story was always scheduled to go this way, but I don't believe it for a second.

The reason 'Mania feels so rushed is because they had to throw it together at the last minute due to Bootista. There is no way in hell they planned on it going down like this. Never mind that they decided to completely forego any mid card feuds/angles in favor of the stupid battle royal. It looked like they were going somewhere with Christian/Sheamus, but they got shoved in the battle royal prior to Christian's injury.

I don't think they got shoved in the battle royal prior to Christian's injury. IIRC, Christian got hurt one week, then the next Sheamus was in the battle royal.

Or maybe things are just so damn cluttered that I'm misremembering. Either way, that's not good.

You bemoan the mid-card feuds, which is true, but this is a pretty damn packed card. There's eight matches on it, most of which should be entertaining at the very least based on the guys involved, and more than a few mid-carders (the eight guys in the fatal four-way tag match, the Shield, Bray Wyatt) will have their own moments to shine outside of the battle royal.
It's a weird dynamic. I agree the build-up has been lacking something, and yet I'm pretty confident that it'll be a solid show.

Debating on going to Wrestlemania since it's "relatively" close and I have a day off. Do you folks think it would be better to sit in the lower upper deck or somewhere closer to the action. My qualm is that the ring will look smaller the higher I go, but I am not wanting to spend beau-coup bucks.

I went to Mania last year and spent more money on that ticket than any other sporting event I have attended. I was lower deck probably around where the 40-45 yard line would be on the football field. Even with pretty good seats, I was still pretty far away from the ring. In a football stadium, not that many people can get close to the ring

Here are a couple of pics from my seats last year (as you can tell, I got there really early)

There were a LOT of people that paid more than I did for their seats that probably ended up pissed off due to the four giant columns surrounding the ring.

Also, you HAVE to go to RAW if you can. WrestleMania was fun for the spectacle, but the next night was one of the most fun/memorable events of my life. It will be hard to recreate that magic this year, but I bet it will still be a hell of a crowd.

OK,that was cool with Cena sneaking behind with the lights out and wearing the sheep mask.

This bugs me. How does a no-DQ match end without a winner?

I have seen this posted in other places. It doesn't seem all that weird to me. No DQ simply means that the referee will not disqualify anyone. If the two guys just walk out on their own accord, that seems within the stipulations of the match.
