Bumping this to the front page. Don't say I never did anything for you assholes.

I've got Germany and Argentina in the semis.

Agree on Germany-Argentina, though I'd love to see a Germany-Holland final.

I just don't see where Brazil gets the offense from -- Oscar is going to have to be huge today. Germany should win.

As to the other semi, Holland has been fun to watch and Robben has been fantastic when he has stayed upright. Given the loss of Di Maria, if Aguero is less than 100%, I think Holland will win.

I hope somebody has warned Argentina that Robben likes to cut inside.

Still rooting for Netherlands, but not impressed with their lackluster performance against Costa Rica and wondering if that carries over. Going with Brazil on PKs and Argentina to take out the Dutch for the all South American final.

The fact everybody knows he's going to do it, but still gets away with it amazes me.

Netherlands and Germany are the two best teams I've seen in this tournament, but I'm hesitant to pick that as a final given the home-hemisphere advantage of Brazil and Argentina.

There was a move against Costa Rica where he must have faked outside 4 times before the defender finally bit. His burst of speed is amazing -- he reminds me of earlier career Ronaldo, where either he gets by you or you have to foul him (along with the attendant embellishment). He does seem like a pain in the ass to play with though -- if the ball goes to the left side, he has his hand up on the right calling for the ball the entire time.

That was my thinking, too. Given my shoddy prediction record, that probably means the Dutch are a shoo-in.

Germany rocking the house against Brazil, up 3-0 after 25 minutes!

Make it 4-0. Looking like a middle school JV game.
