When Brazil got down 2-0, it looked like they just gave up; in appeared that the Germans simply rant faster and tried harder. Utterly unacceptable effort by the Brazilians.

This ranks very close to the worst loss ever in Cup history: 9-0, Hungary over South Korea (1954), Yugoslavia over Zaire (1974); 10-1, Hungary over El Salvador (1982).
