Loved Jurgie's reaction to goal. This is a super loose and high-optimism coach to be in charge of legitimizing U.S. National soccer pursuits. He has the squad believing in themselves much more than Bruce Arena ever seemed to.

Everybody's on Bradley's ass, too, on post game TV

As well they should be. Brutal turnover. He's half-assing it getting back. But then there were THREE FICKIN DEFENDERS IN THE BOX and NO ONE did crap. Don't take your foot off the pedal ... or the throat.

  3. Has ESPN brought in a dozen English commentators to tell us American neophytes how much of a choke job that was?

Bradley's turnover was atrocious, and we almost certainly get 3 points if he just sends it long instead of dicking around in the middle of the field.

Still, for as much as I despise him, Ronaldo's ball was one that only 2 or 3 men on the planet can play.

No idea how he came up with that in the closing seconds after doing nothing for most of 90 minutes.

Bradley should be thrown into the Amazon straight into a school of piranha. Beasley should have cleared Ronaldo into the third row of the stands. If he takes a yellow or even red there, we win.

You see crosses like that every week during league play. It was very good, but not mind-blowing great.

I said at halftime ... everytime 7 touched the ball, put him on the turf. Cripes.

Please. Considering the circumstances, final minute of stoppage time and Portugal's gonna be eliminated with a loss, it was mind-blowing great. Don't know how anyone can argue that.

Bradley should not have been forced off the ball, but Cameron shit the bed right there. Guarded air while a ball sailed over his head.

I'm talking the actual cross - the striking of the ball - itself.

Depends on how many total goals each side scores.

If Ghana wins 2-1 and US loses 0-1, then Ghana advances on more goals.
