If the WR fishing for the PI call laid on the turf, rolling and shrieking in agony for minutes on end, yeah, it would be about the same thing.

Like every other aspect of the game, the world does not want or need us getting our hands on things and trying to change it. Just look at this thread and see how many times someone has said "it would be better if they" did/changed this or that. A perfect example is we used to have a very good local league. A new guy who had no experience in soccer was hired to run it, and within a year he turned it into basketball on grass because he thought it would be better. Now a few years later, the league is devoid of soccer players. It is composed of the same people who play basketball in the winter, saying, "Let's give soccer a try."

This attitude is why western Europe needed our help winning their last world war.
Help me, I'm cowering on the ground, won't someone please help me?

Didn't take long for one of our trolls to forget this:

Perhaps a mod could enforce that promise?

Maybe someone will indulge this non-trolling question:

Would a 40 nation field, with five teams per bracket, do anything to better make clear who the top two teams are in each bracket?

I'm thinking that one extra game might reduce the number of tie-breakers, but maybe not.

Is the NYT trolling when it brings up the dangers of concussions in
    football week after week?

I think the rest of the world is just fine with the way it is.
