This is fantastic stuff. Can't believe that clutch of Chile fans is just in the middle there without any separation from the Brazil fans.

I loved the guy with the Joker face paint flipping off the Brazil fans when Chile scored.

Chile's GK has been fantastic today. Shootout looming.

    Futbol, bloody hell.

Chile denied by the woodwork late in extra time and then again in the shootout.

Julio Cesar comes up gigantic in the shootout and Brazil gets away with one.

This couple had bought 3 litho-prints here in the gallery and were about to pay at the same time shootout was starting. I didn't want to miss a shot, and neither did they, so I put my laptop on the counter and we watched together. I took a photo of them with their prints as they watched. One of the Brazilians missed here.

    That was a thriller.

He is on fire. That was nearly as good as the Maxi Rodriguez goal a couple of WCs back.

Halftime host here said without question the best goal of the tournament. Surely Cahill's at the very least asks the question though ...

This is the terrible problem for the favorites. Just about any game can come down to penalty kicks and when it does, it's a crap shoot.
