    Yost starting 4 lefties against Bumgarner seems like a bad idea, especially the way Shields got knocked around in Game 1.

    I think all that can be done against Bumgarner is "wait him out". Try not to swing at the first pitch (although Escobar did exactly that). Try and let his pitch count build up, if possible.

    As Hosmer had an awful strikeout on two straight balls, against an elite lefty pitcher, just hope for that third time through where you've seen him twice and perhaps there is a little less velocity or control.
