That's the kind of clutch I can side with. :D

This game epitomizes baseball; that 2nd inning, there were bloops, slips, then balls that missed fielders gloves (Belt) by one inch; texas leaguers, everything and you look up and the Royals are up 7-0.

Unlike Peavy who pitched Gm. 2 in KC, Huddy will now be in KC vs SF, so that changes the dynamic up for Gm. 7. Huddy is going to go 4, leave the game tied 1-1, then its MadBum for 2 and the Giants win 3-1. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Its a wrap.

I'd sure like to see another second inning like that tomorrow to limit the MadBum factor.

    I don't think they're confident he's completely healthy.

I meant to address this back in the second inning when Hosmer had his double that he chopped over Crawford's head with the infield in. Reynolds called it an old "Astroturf" hit. And back in the days when a lot of games were played on Astroturf they called every single one of those a "turf" hit. That always drove me crazy because such balls never touched the turf. It's as though they're insisting that the dirt is a lot harder if it's on a turf field than a grass field.

Guthrie turned in their best start of the series. Why wouldn't they go back to him?

    Guess this game doesn't count.

Oh. You're going full oop. In that case, Guthrie turned in the best start of the series ***before tonight.*** I am assuming Ventura will not also start tomorrow.

Sorry that was so confusing for you.

Ventura's other start was as good as Guthrie's also.

Double oop! Way to keep your eye on the point.

They both had decent starts, not like either was very good. Tonight was the first good start KC got. Sorry if that was confusing to you.
