As I said several pages ago, great strike-zone discipline by Perez. I know he's a free-swinger but you can't get yourself in a hole by swinging at the first pitch when it's a mile out of the strike zone.

I'm not even a Royals fan, had basically never heard of this guy before the playoffs, and I get more pissed the more I see his at bats last night.

I know he's a super-hacker, but I wonder what kind of frame of mind he was in after getting plunked earlier. Saw some reports where he was in the training room for nearly an hour getting treated after the game.

It certainly adds texture to his friendship with Pablo Sandoval.

Koufax was a two-time World Series MVP. I don't know how that doesn't define greatness.

Sorry guys. Busy day and I am behind in my duties.

I must now point out that the World Series champions were among the top 10 in the majors in payroll. To be exact, the Giants were 7th.

Again, I apologize for making y'all wait.

    :)

Too bad he didn't throw 100 more.

BTW, pretty funny that it took 3 minutes to overturn a call ... at first base.

A whole lotta St. Louis folk smiled just a little bit.
