From the start, LBJ or his people have made it all about him. The Chosen One. The Decision The Return. There comes a time when one has to forget the marketing and step up his game.

Lebron has made it to six straight finals and your point is he's not a great player because he hasn't won the last four straight and his teams lost big in some of those games against better teams?

Do you have any idea how fucking dumb you sound?

He's the best player in the game. He has been for 10 years. He plays with hand picked players for the last 6 years. He has hand picked his coach. He puts up impressive stats. He flops like euro futballer. Whines like a middle school Prima Donna. And doesn't get it done when it matters.

    Thanks, Skip Bayless.

You keep saying "he plays with hand-picked players." What the fuck does that even mean? This isn't fantasy basketball. It doesn't work that way. And the best player on that team not named Lebron was already there when he came back.

He hand picked his coach? From every account I heard he wanted a different coach to replace Blatt and management told him no. (He wanted Mark Jackson, which isn't exactly a point in Lebron's favor, but your argument is still bullshit.)

The rest of that is just hot take bullshit that means nothing. "He doesn't get it done when it matters" -- except he did, twice. And last year he dragged that team to two wins in the finals playing with 11 dudes he picked up outside Home Depot.

The anti-James arguments remain sort of silly. Teams win titles. His last two teams have been far from good enough to beat a GSW team that grew into a historic squad. Just the nature of it. He/the team admittedly didn't see the super smallball era coming the way it did and made what seemed like a smart short-term play that simply got swept away in another team's rise.

And all the machinations that came together to create this Warriors team are oddly impressive when you look at them as a whole.

A 73 win team from a tougher conference is beating a 57 win team. Shocking. You're a fucking clown

I didn't say his game was terrible. Is it asking too much for someone who is among the GOATS to do a little extra when in the greatest spotlight? Apparently so. But keep believing putting up numbers that hit his averages are OK. And do try the veal.
