CLE played their last regular season game on April 13 and have played 19 games in the last 2 months

Good news is @qtlaw @HanSenSE and nuts around the Bay Area can't lose. Either the Warriors overcome the HATERS!!!! or they have a ready-made excuse for why they still can't close this out.

 

When did the schedule change? If they went Thu-Sun-Tues, tonight would be game 7.

 

Game 7 on Father's Day, if necessary. The jokes write themselves

 

I think they added extra days when they went to 2-2-1-1-1 a couple years ago, but yeah, it doesn't seem necessary.

This has been a really weird schedule too because I thought one of the guiding principles of TV scheduling was to avoid Fridays. But there was one stretch of the series that went Wed-Fri-Mon, which doesn't seem to make any sense at all to play on Friday and skip the weekend.

 

Jordan would've willed the extra days out of the schedule.

Yeah, Hanse and I both said its all about the haters and other excuses like the refs. Find the facts first before you draw your conclusions, but alas there are no such facts.

I think the extra days are probably good. Ken Berger had a good story on the science of rest in the NBA. Suggested it helps.

Also, like that the quick pull on Love will help stagger the big 3's minutes some, even if that might not have been the original plan.
