So this generated a little buzz when it was written after Christmas. I know a few Warriors writers chuckled a bit. Good to see the Cavs had it figured out.

Golden State was +125 on the moneyline last night. You don't see that every day. I couldn't not take that.

I guess Curry loves MLK more than LeBron

Is there any guard in the NBA that can slow Curry down?

Could a 6-6 player with quickness have a chance?

    Hasn't been one yet.

He set an NBA record last season with 286 three-pointers. This year, in the Warriors' first 42 games, he has 193.

I'm still pretty stunned and delighted by what I saw last night. One of the things I love about what the Warriors have done the past year-plus is bring out the kid in me that just loves watching folks play good, fun ball that's a joy to watch. They're the best thing going in sports, I think, and by a wide margin.

I saw Steph play a few times when he was at Davidson and I'm going with my brother and his 12-year-old son when the Warriors play in Atlanta next month. Can't wait.

I was lucky to watch Steph's last collegiate game, a NIT matchup with Patty Mills and it looked like Mills got the best of him. I had already heard Bobby Knight say he was the best passer he'd ever seen and saw the NCAA run to the final 8 the prior year. Curry hit a few long range bombs and was very smooth but he finished something like 8-25. I still thought he was a really good player, MVP though? Or even All-Star? I wasn't that smart.

Last night was fun to watch, especially after the Detroit debacle. The Cavs were the perfect anecdote, they pound the ball and like to play iso ball, something the W's eat up.

As for who gives Curry problems, its an active, quick, long defender, Kawhi or Detroit's Pope. However, even in the debacle, Curry lit up Pope.

BTW, I looked up K Love's shot chart last night to verify what I saw, he shot one ball inside 23 feet. No post ups. That's awful for a supposed elite PF. Anyone know what the Cavs are thinking for $20M/yr, is it just brand recognition?

This summer's Olympic team will be very interesting to watch play.

The ball has to be in Curry's hands. It just has to be. Now, can James play a big 3 out of the post, which he should be great at, or playing weakside and living off of Curry's passes? Will he? Our Olympic team will be fascinating to watch.

Brandon Rush did a pretty good job on him in college, but they are teammates now and Rush is a shell of what he was before a bunch of injuries.

Accepting the premise that there's a tall, quick defender who can slow down Curry -- Kawhi Leonard is the best bet -- that leaves the matter of what to do with the 6-6 Klay Thompson, who is second in the NBA in three-pointers made and 12th in percentage at 42.7. And if some team does have two of those guys, then you have to deal with the 6-7 Draymond Green, who is shooting 42.3 percent.

Lebron's not gonna be any sort of 3 on the Olympic team. Coach K always plays him at the 4 in international ball. The starting 3 will likely be either Durant, Leonard, George or maybe even Harden (who he started at the 3 on the last WC team).
