Somewhat obscured by all the Warriors hype is the fact that the Spurs are also on a 70 plus win pace and have been obliterating all in their path recently. Last night a 30 pt road win despite Duncan and Parker not playing. We're heading for one mother of a showdown in the West this year.

And it's complete bull that they will have played half their seasons without playing each other once. And two of their games might not matter based on when they play and the likelihood that their playoff seeds could be wrapped up.

Josh Smith cornering the market on "I don't care if we get nothing in return, just get this asshole out of here" transactions. Last year the Pistons were willing to eat 50 million dollars or so in exchange for nothing to get rid of him, and now the Clippers trade him and a pile of cash in exchange for the rights to a couple looong ago old late-second round flyers who are virtually certain never to step foot in the league:

GM: Rockets get Smith in trade with Clippers

Houston seems to like him, though.

I'm sure his EWQRT jibes with Morey's winning philosophy.

It was a tough decision by GM/Coach Lebron James, but one he felt was necessary.
