Warriors down 10 at home to the Celtics with 7 minutes left.

Man they had the fumbles tonight. You play Brandon Rush in the final minutes of a close game, you get what you get.

Bummer. It'll be a huge letdown if they went gunning for the record like this and then end up falling just oh so short. And then that letdown bunch will find themselves facing a fully loaded and fresh Spurs crew that Pop's been preparing all year just for that playoff matchup.

I do hope the Warriors get that record, but the margin for error is near its limit. Only one allowable loss left.

27 turnovers. Props to the Celtics on d, but Waarriors looked sloppy. They're so close, but is it worth it?

Mavs-Warriors would not be a horrible matchup and would be sweet revenge for 2007 if the Mavs could pull it off. If only for Dirk and Cuban, the only elements of the team still around.

Mavs would be lucky to win one against Golden State in a playoff series.

Remember, Boston nearly beat Golden State at home earlier this season. Some teams are just matchup problems for others. Let's not start reading into the playoff tea leaves based on one regular-season game.

Having been at that first game, I agree with Cosmo. The Celtics try to play, and when they play well they do, like the Warriors do. Superior teams often have a bit of trouble against mirror image opponents.

    This is such tiresome psychobabble.

Not getting the record, at this point, means the Warriors will finish the season on a 4-3 run (to match 72-10) or a 3-4 run (to fall short). And then talkers will talk about how they sputtered to the finish line. If they get the record, they're pushing too hard at the finish line.

It's all set up very nicely for whatever storyline anyone wants.

Warriors beat Blazers 136-111, now 69-8 on the season.

    The bone-tired Stephen Curry scores 39 points, hitting 9 of 13 three-pointers.

Yeah, but he obviously didn't have the legs to make the other four.
