Both teams send out the varsity, but Warriors clinch home court for the duration.

Will be real interesting to see how the Spurs play that next meeting in Texas. Pop probably rests a lot of guys. But who knows. The Dubs haven't won in SA in 20 years, and Pop might want to keep that thought firmly ingrained in the Dubs' heads heading into the playoffs.

The Dubs won in the playoffs there a few years ago, so that thought wouldn't be worth much.

I think it has been more about Pop not wanting Kerr to see how lineups/matchups play out, specifically with Duncan. OTOH it's hard to see the Spurs going 39-0 at home and then tanking the last two games.

Good point on the playoffs. Forgot about that completely.

It definitely gets lost in the breathless talk about that streak. The guys on the team now, other than Iguodala, have all won there though.

2nd round in the East should be fun, James-town v Boston or Miami.

Warriors down by 10 in the fourth quarter in Memphis. If they lose here, they'd have to win in San Antonio to match the '96 Bulls.

And, they survive 100-99. Green dominates on both ends down the stretch. Curry misses two three-pointers with a one-point lead on the Warriors' last possession, but the D holds up.

71-9 with a roadie in SA tomorrow night and then home against Memphis to close it.

Pop sent the JV out in Friday's loss at. Denver. SA will be looking to stay undefeated at home. For all they've accomplished the last few seasons, a win at SA is the last monkey on the back.

I pointed this out a couple of pages ago, but it does get lost in the shuffle of The Streak ... these guys have won in San Antonio, though. Game 2 of the 2013 playoff series.

Saw it. But I'll stand by my post that, mentally, they need the W.

There's no mental block for Ws in SA; they already won there, in a playoff game which is bigger than any reg sea game; plus what's Curry's record there 0-5? Big deal. It's only for the historians to worry about, not the current champs.
