Kid can't plant to make it around a corner in the hallway, much less on the court. Textbook ligament injury sign.

The Rockets didn't come out for the second half either.

Should Tyronn Lue, Assistant to the Coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, be fined like Stan Van Gundy, for inferring that the refs are too stupid to know when LeBron James is fouled?

    Implying, not inferring.

That's a 15k fine for implying, if he were a head coach (and white).

It's going to be a long night in the Bay Area as everyone awaits the results of Curry's MRI. Everything is pure guesswork at this point, but the Warriors (Kerr in particular) seem way down about it.

A good friend is in the sports medicine industry and in our group of buddies will make a ballpark assessment based on TV footage and other public info. He's right a remarkable percentage of the time. For this one he says Grade 1 MCL sprain, mininum 11 days.

So I'm holding out hope that we could see him by Game 5 of the second round. The Warriors can win at home and at least get to 2-2 against either of those teams.

I still remember sometime in the 80s when Joe Montana had back surgery. The hospital set up a special number for fans to call for updates, the lines were getting that overwhelmed. With social media, doubt we'll see that.

Meanwhile in the non-playoff world, Adrian Wojnarowski just tweeted that Byron Scott is out as the Lakers coach.

So what can we expect in another of way too many recent coaching searches for this team? Does Jeannie try to convince her beau to leave New York and come on back? Should they try to grab Luke Walton? Aim higher?

EDIT: Here's link from Yahoo: Sources: Lakers fire coach Byron Scott. And, oops, it is Luke Walton, not Adam.

Would have to think it's Walton's if he wants it. But the post-Kobe Lakers are a rebuild. How patient are the Buss spawn?

Post-Kobe Lakers aren't as much of a rebuild to me. Like, Kobe's massive salary comes off the books, and L.A. has been a proven free agency draw in the past. Between Russell, Randle, Clarkson and whoever the draft pick is this year, there are some decent building blocks already on the roster. Jeanie Buss is also supposed to be sharper than Jim.

Sign Durant and rebuild around him?
