I never could figure what the Thunder was thinking when it let Brooks go.

It seemed like they had plateaued with him as coach. However, at least through a year, Donovan hasn't gotten them to play substantially different.

Maybe Harden is right with the ballhog idea. Through one quarter, he is 6 for 8 and his teammates are 0 for 15. He has 18 of their 20 points.

They would have trouble winning a title with relatively stripped-down Xs and Os and he had a bad habit of playing bad older players like Perk and Fisher without getting enough from them. The downside was, you gotta fire the guy and hire someone better. The didn't.

If the NBA ever considers a mercy rule, a DVD of this game will be Exhibit One. 89-59 Dubs after three.

If there was a mercy rule, this game would be 135-14. Houston has basically quit, imagine if they knew it could end early.

How on earth does Dwight Howard go 2 for 10 from the field? Pathetic.

I haven't found a box online yet, but I don't think the Rockets shot 30 percent for the game.

32.6 as a team (31-95). Take away Harden (12-23) and the team shot 26 percent (19-72).

This is the NBA, right? Not a high school JV game?
