    Is Haase really a hot coach? His first two years at UAB he was 7-9 in conference. This year he was 12-6 and tied for fourth. The Blazers win the first game by one in the conference tournament then the second in overtime. They beat Iowa State in the NCAA tournament and now he might be showered with the riches Alabama can offer on the basis on winning a couple of close games in tournaments??

    Alabama to meet with Avery Johnson tonight, it's being widely reported.

    I have no idea how good a college coach Johnson would be, but he certainly seems like he'd be a good recruiter, which is what Alabama needs more than anything right now with Ben Howland and Bruce Pearl on either side.
