To be fair, I thought he did a much better job coaching this season up until yesterday. He's been more flexible about when and how he's used the zone and played to his players strengths pretty well. But often, especially in regular seasons, he has under performed given his talent. Now he's also got to be praised for getting that talent to Waco. Overall he's been good for Baylor, but I wouldn't necessarily want him on the bench making decisions in a close game.

His tournament resume is pretty good. It helps that if he can get past the Thursday or Friday game the next opponent only has a day to get ready for the zone.

They also had a lead and the ball with the shot clock off and threw the ball away.

I guess my surprise was that Cincinnati could score 7 points in a minute.

Come on, Wichita. You need to advance so you can whoomp Kansas.

Wichita State fans get the match-up they want.

Kansas fans seem to be 50/50 about it. Half are saying "Bring it." But there were plenty of them rooting for Indiana.

I was told by a friend a couple of hours ago how he hates Wichita State's fans. In fact, a lot of Kansas' fans think Shocker fans are "arrogant." One of my friends said, "They have two good years and all of a sudden they think they're hot crap. They need to shut up."

Another one, "Wichita State hasn't been a powerhouse or anything and only has been a quality team for the last couple years.....people act like things are owed to them....a program like that can't just demand things. I'm glad it's happening but people need to relax."

That sounds like arrogance from the Kansas fans to me. Some Wichita State fans are saying, "It's about time!" but what I'm seeing for the most part, is that they want to win and hope it's a good game.

Kansas fans calling other fans arrogant? That's rich. Still, CBS got a great round-of-32 matchup.

I'll be secretly (well, not-s0-secretly) following the Hawkeyes at work tonight. Gotta get past Davidson for my dream Iowa-Gonzaga matchup ...
