It could have been some black kid who was the SLAM DUNK CHAMPION!!!11!! who did what Allen did.

Some of you are showing some sad (for the lack of a better word) colors here.

Oh my god, a 6'4 cracka's got hops.

 

Luke Hancock, Chris Richard, Adrian Moss, Jason Richardson and Donnell Harris are all guys who came off the bench and put up numbers quite a bit better than their season averages in the national championship game.

 

Not as effervescently, though.

 

Was the kid articulate in the post game interviews?

 

I just think the kid outworked everyone. Scrappy if you will.

 

What he lacks in instincts and athleticism, he makes up for in gym rattiness and knowledge. Probably the son of a coach.

Imagine how good he would be if he could jump!

 

I heard he had his own set of keys to the gym. You could find him there at all hours.

 

I should point out that I couldn't pick this kid out of a lineup.

I was just curious to see how/if the Romney bracket was being discussed, and discovered this.

I do think it's silly to accuse Songbird of making more out of the situation because the kid is white.

Who does that?

 

Has anyone heard if its mandatory in the NCAA that on every high screen the defender on the ball must go over the top? Even when you knew that the dribbler was not looking to shoot, the defender went over the top leaving the post defender hanging out to dry. Why not force the guards to make a few Js first, or mixing it up? Wisc got burned on that simple play down the stretch.
