I don't, for sure. But she was never recruited by UConn until essentially right after she got an offer from Notre Dame. She wasn't in that league. Then, next thing you know, she's committing to UConn. I think she averaged 0.9 ppg as a senior.

A quick way to fix the lack of depth in the women's game is to cut scholarships from 15 to 13.

That'd be good times, Title IX wise.

I didn't realize women can have 15 scholarships, most teams I see rarely have more than 12 and travel with fewer.

Anybody that believes Pat Summit was/is a better coach than Geno is an idiot.

And anybody who believes that Geno isn't by far the best coach in women's basketball history in EVERY CATEGORY, is an idiot.

    It is not close.

The craziest part is if it weren't for some key injuries in the final four, he would probably have won 13 or 14 of the last 20.

Everyone points to the Swin Cash, Sue Bird, Taurasi team as if every team he has won with has five stud WNBA players.

Take a look at the team he won with Taurasi as a senior and tell me honestly if that team was the best (as in most talented) teams in the country or even one of the five best.

And the dumbest stat I have ever seen is this 146-10 overall over four years but only 1-8 in games.

They have lost ten games in FOUR YEARS which means more than likely, they are so good that if they lose it is going to be a close game because they aren't going to get blown out.

Wouldn't do a thing unless they cut it to 10.

Agreed. It was nice to see scrappy little UConn win the title again this year. "Hoosiers, Part 2, " practically, am I right?

UCONN winning women's national titles is the tree falling in the woods: nobody sees it, nobody hears about it so nobody cares. He's the one who made the choice to go and coach in the lesser known and lesser exposed gender of basketball. Nobody forced him. If he wants to bitch and cry that he's not given the respect of a Caliapari or Huggins, that's on him. No one pointed a gun to his head and made him waddle off into obscuity.
