Ryback had an incredible push, mostly undefeated. He's had time on the microphone. I wouldn't mind seeing him feud with Lesnar eventually.

 

And The Miz. Considering how over he was when he won it, it's even more amazing how far he's fallen since.

 

Yeah, I was browsing through the WWE Network the other day and noticed that the Miz was in a WrestleMania main event. That's.....man. That's something.

 

Am I the only one that hates Ryback? He's OK for what he is, but a Ryback-Lesnar match sounds like it would be incredibly boring.

 

Still not the worst 'Mania main event of all time.

I know I'm likely in the minority, but IMO The Miz had one of the most under appreciated title reigns of all time.

Forget what you know about present-day Miz and how he's fallen from the main event scene, he was a fantastic heel with A-Ry at his side (and still playing a great smarmy heel today). He gets a reaction (hi, Miz Girl), and yes he can work a match and wrestle (sorry IWC, you're wrong). He's good with mainstream media and has a great backstory. Easy to see why E had the belt on him for nearly 6 months.

Oh, I was a huge Miz mark a few years ago and was stoked when he won MITB and the belt. His earlier feud with Cena (about a year before he won the belt) was great, and I thought it should have planted the seeds for something. They just booked him horribly as champ. Feuding with Lawler straight off the bat, a lackluster follow-up with Cena where he played second fiddle, and did he ever even have a feud with Orton after taking the belt from him?
It was a missed opportunity, and he's never really recovered from it. Kind of reminds me of Jericho's first title reign, minus the successful bounce-back phase.
Now, three years later, when he reminds people he once main evented Wrestlemania it just comes across as sad. Like, Garbo in a darkened room talking about the old days sad.
