Bryan's been limited with the whole IC title Smackdown thing recently, even last week before he reportedly got hurt he had just the brief appearance on Raw with Kane.

Some of the stuff I've read says they've been leery about his health/non-surgery since his comeback and that was part of the season they pushed him down the card for Mania. If that's true why the hell would they put him in a ladder match, which has to be among the most dangerous matches for that?

Bryan can carry an entire company on his back, but give him 30 pounds of gold to put on his waist and he breaks down like a used Chevy Nova.

    What was more predictable...

the 1998 Royal Rumble match or the 2015 Royal Rumble match?

My question stems from the fact that i've been rewatching the attitude era Raws and noticed that the buildup to the Rumble is terrible for just about everyone bar Austin.

For me, without question, 1998. The entire build-up to that Rumble was showcasing Austin. He was the star going into the match. No one else was even a possibility.

For 2015, there was still a good chance that Daniel Bryan may have won. There was also the chance that there would be a surprise appearance by someone whether by John Cena, The Rock or whatever. Just because Roman Reigns was the favorite and he won doesn't mean it was the only possible outcome.

Not to mention, by 2015, it was fairly common for some screwy shit to happen between Rumble and Wrestlemania. Just because someone won the Rumble doesn't mean they're necessarily getting the title shot at Mania. Even though they did something similar to that in 1997, it was far less common in the 90's compared to the 2000's.

It's being reported that the curb stomp is not "banned." They just wanted Rollins to have an "out-of-the-blue" finisher, like the RKO, that didn't require as much set-up. He can still use the curb stomp, just not as a finisher, apparently.

Heard Wyatt's injury is more serious than they let on after Mania. And apparently, his last few messages have been about ... Ryback.

Yay! Skip Sheffield vs. Husky Harris!

It's a Nexus reunion! Let's have Michael Tarver be the guest referee.

People say the problem with Reigns is the predictability but the reality is they don't like him. People didn't decry the predictability of Austin in '98 because they loved him and the loved the build.

Well, that came out of left field.

I think the one and only problem with Reigns is he hasn't changed at all since the Shield days. I will give him this though: he showed me something at Mania. That was an impressive match and the first time I genuinely saw his star potential.
He may have it one day. I hope he does. But if he's not ready when they push him to the moon, he will get shit on by the fans and rightfully so.

Said it for months: Not repackaging Reigns in even a small way has probably hurt him greatly.

As a member of the Shield, all he had to do was his key spots to a big reaction. He wasn't the one carrying the workload for the Shield. Now you're having to watch Reigns for the entire duration of his matches. Naturally, he's not going to look the same as his Shield days since he can't just hit spears, Superman punches, ect.
