That blonde girl crying for her fiancé is toast.

She thinks it's hard being away from him for a day or two? What's she supposed to do when she's away for two weeks at a shot? Not to mention, she'd never would have survived the old days when they'd be on the road 25 days a month.

You'd think she would have done some sort of research about the lives the wrestlers live. I think it was Foley who once said that he would go so for as discourage anyone with a family from getting into the business, with the time requirements, not to mention the temptations out there.

From most accounts, I think talent at the company doesn't trust Dixie Carter, whereas they were kind of OK with how Jarrett et. al. was running things. Heck, him and Kurt Angle are still on good terms, even though he's now married to Angle's ex-wife. Things are also probably to the point where Dixie is desperate to juice the ratings and popularity of the show. You can't save Jarrett's Impact return for 2016 if the show is scheduled to be cancelled by September anyway.

There have been rumors of Jarrett buying TNA and things like roster sharing.

At least according to past Observer newsletters, he had a deal in place that fell through at the last minute because Dixie Carter's dad - who actually owns the energy company (I think) that owns TNA - insisted that she saw on in some management role with the company. Whereas if Jarrett buys it, he wants full control. I actually think she's OK as a TV authority figure, but the company's slide has coincided with her taking a more active role.

    Observer from June 29:

    - Daniel Bryan’s injuries are actually concussion related, and don’t have anything to do with his shoulder. They’re believed to be career-threatening as a result. It’s been kept quiet because he probably got the concussion in a post-Mania match with Sheamus, and he worked several matches after that point.

    - Ziggler’s contract does expire in a few months, but he hasn’t personally looked into other contract offers, just voiced some frustration. If he went to the combination of indies and Lucha Underground or New Jaapan, he could probably do $350,000 to $400,000 a year, which is lower than his WWE deal.

    - Orlando is the favorite for Mania in 2017.

    - Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste have been offered WWE contracts. Mike Hayes, the war vet from OVW who wrestles on one leg, is also getting a development deal. Samantha Sage, a Tough Enough Cut, will probably be on the next Diva Search in the fall.

    - Noble did break three ribs in the June 22 Raw closing angle.

    - Erik Rowan tore his biceps in a June 19 match with Cesaro. He’ll be out at least four months. They were set for a big push, since he and Harper will be protected on TV. It leaves add him to Cesaro and Jimmy Uso as wrestlers in limbo, because their tag partners are hurt.

    - Kidd, 34, is out for at least a year after have a neck / spinal fusion surgery similar to Austin and Edge. It’s noted that both were able to wrestle after their neck surgeries, but it radically increased the wear and tear on their bodies after. Natalya has been given time off as well.

    - HBK will be in a religious movie, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.

    - Sarah Stock (Dark Angel, Sarita) has been used as a Lucha Libre coach in Orlando.

    - Uhaa Nation pinned Johnny Gargano of WWN at a house show. It suggests WWE has some sort of working agreement with WWN.

So if you went to the WWE house show in Boston this Saturday, you were in for a treat. Dwayne showed up because he was in the area shooting a movie. Apparently he got a little physical with Bo Dallas.

Also saw where Tyler Breeze was at a WWE house show in Roanoake. He should be up soon I think.

Anyone here surprised to see Jarrett win the King of the Mountain?

    Or Magnus head to GFW?

Great match, and we may finally be getting that Cesaro face turn a year and a third too late.

Another mark-out moment: Just had a tweet favorited by Zeb Colter. I miss that guy.

Unintentionally hilarious: Lana's magical color-changing jacket.
Funny if you can stop cringing at the product placement: Dean Ambrose talking to a T-800.
Predictable wrestling story beat turning a hot angle boring: KO feigns a challenge to Cena.
What the hell am I watching: Seth turning Raw into The Price Is Right.
I saw this done better five years ago: Wyatt singing the teapot song. CM Jesus singing Happy Birthday to Rey's kid was creepier. Maybe it's because I can't fear for the safety of an off-screen kid.
