So far, you're right on the money with your prediction, BDC. Long way to go, though.

My daughter the Ducks fan is very disheartened. She said it's like when you finish reading Harry Potter 7, what do you do next.
The Ducks were banking on wearing down the Blackhawks and it never happened. The Blackhawks took away the Ducks' cycle game, which sets up their power offense and wears down the other team. And I just don't understand how the Ducks -- again -- could be tense and nervous in this game. Their passing was off, pucks bounced off sticks. I knew they were in trouble when Sekac and Despres were their best players in the first period. Ran into a few of the off-ice officials in the parking lot and overheard one say that Kesler was the only Duck who showed up.
The Blackhawks were great. Toews leads the way, but I thought Keith was their best player the last half of the series. Quenneville figuring out how to take away the Ducks' cycle game was the key to the series. The Blackhawks just don't make mistakes. I'm picking them over Tampa.

In today's NHL, win or lose next series, the Blackhawks qualify as a dynasty to me. Their staying power has been remarkable. Granted, I'm a fanboy.

Any predictions? Obviously I'm biased, so I think we'll be seeing a scene like this again this summer:

Should be a great series with plenty of offensive firepower. Blackhawks in 6.

    Agree with Blackhawks in 6.

I predict Blackhawks in 6. Every round I have predicted the Blackhawks would lose. So if you are Chicago fan, I have been your good luck charm. So sorry about this prediction. I see a path for Tampa to win -- Chicago's defense is not that deep. Duncan Keith has played a lot of minutes. And if the triplets catch fire and run over that defense, Tampa certainly has the firepower to win the series. But I don't think that is going to happen. I think Ben Bishop is shaky, Chicago has some serious star power and it plays amazing with leads.

Ben Bishop is shaky? Maybe he has had a few bumps in the playoffs, but he also has a few shutouts. Has anyone watched Corey Crawford play recently? He's the definition of shaky. I believe the Lightning have the talent and speed to exploit Crawford and Chicago's lack of depth on defense. I'm taking the Bolts in 5. The Blackhawks have the stars and the experience, so it wouldn't surprise me if they pull it out again, but Tampa Bay is the better overall team.

Crawford's been a lot better lately, but that's me quibbling. Tampa will have at least one six-goal game in this series, maybe tonight. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm feeling Lightning in five or six, as well.

Bishop also allowed 19 goals through seven games that included two shutouts and 15 of those goals came in three games.

Yes, Bishop has been shaky at times. Both goalies have.

Bishop has had some rough games, but I think that says more about the team in front of him and the risky style it plays at times. There was never a time I really thought he was playing poorly. Can't say the same about Crawford. I would not feel good going in if I was a Blackhawks fan.
