Huh. They're doing it this Monday.

1 p.m. EST -- Cotton Bowl (could be the Peach)
    5 p.m. EST -- Rose Bowl
8:30 p.m. EST -- Sugar Bowl (could be the Fiesta)

Maybe the "conference champions only" rule isn't such a bad idea.

That ballcarrier doesn't have any elephant books either.

Rose Bowl wouldn't finish in under four hours if it was a Wing-T team against the Norte Dame box.

OK, they can do it I guess, but I'd bet that Sugar is going to have to wait.

Anyway, I can see this is one of the things you're going to complain about forever, as with the Olympics because you haven't figured out streaming. But the new schedule is here to stay.

8:30 for the late game is for programming purposes. Kickoff isn't until 8:47. Granddaddy still the best show on NYD, even if the Trojans are playing in it.

Next year, the semis will be at 5 p.m. EST (Rose) and 8:30 p.m. EST (Sugar). What's the difference in the other two years? Same as two years ago. They -- gasp -- made it work.

And the Olympics are the Olympics. I actually have a computer and figured out streaming. I know. Shocking, I know.

I had the same thought, but I'm not sure Penn St. or K-State would be doing any better.

Predictions on opening line for Clemson-Alabama? Bama -10?

-7.5 ... Clemson looked great today and Alabama not so much.

But the nonconference games would be meaningless.

    I know. Just joking.

Shocked that a Meyer team would get killed like this though.
